Best Software for the Drycleaning Industry Pros: The system does an excellent job managing all aspects of our business. Cons: We would like to see more marketing capabilities Overall: Deciding on a POS is an extremely important decision and we feel very fortunate to have chosen SMRT. The software is excellent and the support staff are quite skilled and always available. SMRT is always open to new ideas and have already implemented many of our requests. A great choice!
Best software for Dry Cleaning Industry. Pros: SMRT POS software is easy to use and dummy proof. I started off using SPOT, then went to Starch up. By far hands down SMRT is the best software out there. Their demo process was detailed. They custom made my inputs and migrated all my customers data over. SMRT computer systems Pros: Each station is stand alone and not dependent on a server network. All data is close at hand and easy to access in seconds or with a click or two. Cons: Employee access should be asked more often at the stations. If the person who opens a station does not sign out then others can easily use that station all day under someone else's ID. 7th Avenue Cleaners Pros: The ease of delivery. It is web based and not app based. Feel like more customer are inclined to log in through a link versus having to download an app. Barcoding system. Cons: When something needs to be post spotted and you have already assembled, it splits the entire order. Can't just take the item of that assembly number and leave the rest of the pieces there. Wish I had switched sooner Pros: Route planning, assisted assembly, easy communications with customers and support team, customers having access to their account in the cloud without downloading an app. Cons: Arranging route stops is extremely clumsy Overall: This is a complete package that is extremely well thought-out, offering dry cleaners everything they could possibly want in a POS system.
Great Dry Cleaning system Pros: I like the advances they have made in pick up and delivery as well as the ease of use for the client looking at our company. Cons: There is a lack of ability to truly service in city buildings in a clean and functional manner on the route. Couldn't Live Without It Pros: SMRT streamlines the whole process and every activity is traceable, so nothing gets lost in the shuffle. Interface is simple and easy to use for all levels. Cons: Sometimes the reports we pull are inaccurate, like the daily piece count, but support is always there to help adjust and tailor reports to our needs.
