I turned in some drapes to be cleaned back on December 16 th. I received my quote January 9 and the drapes were finally done Wednesday the 15th. Almost 1 month. When I contacted Shaffer to speak with a manager, I had to leave a message. I never did receive a call . Poor customer service. The only positive that I can say, the drapes look great!!!! Very clean. Too bad their customer service was lacking!!!!!☹️
WARNING: All Shaffer Cleaners were bought out by Sparkle Cleaners as of Feb 1. The Shaffer cleaning facility has been closed and all launder and dry clean items are now cleaned at Sparkle cleaning facilities. Why does this matter? Maybe, like me, you left Sparkle because they refuse to follow customer instructions and consequently destroy your clothes. So maybe, like me, you'll have to find a dry cleaner that isn't Sparkle OR Shaffer.

Oh my word !!! The best experience!! My neighborhood dry cleaners closed. I took several items to Shaffer. I was greeted as soon as I entered the shop. The lady that was assisting me was VERY helpful and friendly.. she noticed several spots on a shirt my son was to wear to a funeral .. and told me what was best for the other items that I needed to be cleaned. I needed a thick, queen-sized comforter laundered in a hurry. Shaffer completed the job in two days. They accommodated my request for fragrance-free detergent and wool dryer balls instead of dryer sheets, which was greatly appreciated by this allergy sufferer. Well done, Shaffer!
