I’ve been going there a while and they’ve been okay but one of my nice pearl snap shirts came back with a large rip out of it so I guess I need to find a new place. Update: Management reached out to me after seeing my post and encouraged me to file a claim. The claim was accepted and they fully reimbursed me for the shirt. I appreciate them making this right.
Took my pants in to be dry cleaned. They did a terrible job!! the stains were still present when I went to pick up the pants. I expressed my dissatisfaction so they took them back but of course I have to wait two more days!! I will post as to the outcome of the second time through. Be careful of this place, apparently they just run Close through and they don't check their work
The original Ricks location on Richcreek and Burnet is constantly understaffed. Lines of customer, I’ve personally waited 10-15 mins the past 3 times I’ve been in this year. The staff at the location is wonderful, the owner should be ashamed of understaffing such an iconic Austin brand. I’ve often noticed customers mumbling their distaste under their breath as well. Disappointing Rick, you can do better.
I’m disappointed. Rick’s took my garment, charged me, and at pick up said they couldn’t clean the garment and gave me store credit (not a refund). Rick’s, shame on you! Don’t take my garment (and charge me!) if you can’t do the work. I rarely get items dry cleaned, and I was a new customer. I would have appreciated a cash refund or the money back on my card, but your clerk said no, it would be a store credit. Not cool.
they used to be affordable. They do a moderate job. But they’re pricing increases have been just ridiculous over the last year, and I’m not using them anymore. After four years straight, time to find another dry cleaner
