A tailor at Helena's listened to my wacky idea for an alteration and produced two garments that exceeded my expectations. I wanted to add hand pockets to the front of a couple of flannel shirts. I went to Helena's with two shirts to be altered and a third one for material. She listened to my idea, suggested a few refinements, and took in the shirts. If I could rate this place -10 stars, I would. This is hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with any business completely unprofessional, disorganized, and flat-out disrespectful. I brought ONE dress for a simple fix and was told it would take a few days. It’s been three WEEKS, and I’ve driven across town three different times just for them to lie to my face each time. I dropped off a tuxedo for dry cleaning and they decided to keep the pants because they wanted to do some sort of repair. When I picked up my tux the pants were missing. Got a notification a day later saying it was ready for pick up. Went back again and pants were missing still. Employees were not very helpful. I ended up having to drive to their warehouse for Tukwila to pick up pants in time for my flight. Also very expensive. $70!!! To clean a Tux. Won’t be coming back
Helenas is incredible. I use both Queen Anne locations and they are so friendly and thorough and the customer experience is so good I tell all my friends about it. Every item is detailed and tracked in your app/account and I just picked up clothes when the store was closed via the magic of the digital lobby at their north location. They couldn’t make it any easier.
Wow! So this is what a modern dry cleaning establishment looks and feels like. The people are wonderful. but the technology that allows you to simply come up, punch in your phone number, and have your dry cleaned apparel collected and presented to you automatically. Is amazing!
