New customer of A1 cleaners but happy so far. Pricing is reasonable and is disclosed up front. If you’re not sure how much something will be show them the garments in question and ask. Had to rework one item and did so with no issues. Second time was a charm. Wish they offered an option for delivery when you had less than 10 items. Would gladly pay. *****PLEASE SEE MY MOST RECENT REVIEW 1/9 New customer but happy so far here as well. Prices are sooo reasonable and are clothes and blankets cleaned well. Also I think the owner, was the one that helped me with my items to my car! Very kind. ****CAME BACK 1/9 and the Korean lady elen w was so RUDE. I asked her to help me put duvet cover on to the blanket after cleaning blanket but she rudely snapped we don’t do that unless we also clean the duvet. But I told her the duvet is already cleaned. I was going here ever since I moved to Houston and attempted to give them several chances after ruining the color and material of a rug and a shirt. They ruined a brand new shirt, left what looked like a bleach stain on the shirt and did not take ownership. They lost a customer for life. Do NOT use A1 cleaners.
Positives: clothes are well cleaned and ready on time. Negatives: pricing here is totally unpredictable and very shady. Men’s shirts are charged extra $1 for “special cleaning” or extra $2 for “launder” or “dry cleaning” but owners cannot explain why. In some cases, identical shirts are charged different prices. Female owner gets super defensive and argumentative when politely asked to explain different pricing, “special cleaning” or discrepancies. First time using A 1 Cleaners and I am very pleased. All my items were handled with excellent care. I especially like the text notifications and online check out. Highly recommend!!
